Rock ’n for a Cause was a community-driven fundraiser benefiting local neurodivergent children brought to you by Lake St. John Dock Rockers. The event featured the 1st Annual Jambalaya & Pastalaya Cook Off, live music, and family-friendly fun. Teams competed for prizes while attendees participated through tasting kits and voting, with all proceeds going directly toward providing therapy tools and sensory resources for neurodivergent individuals in our local area. Thanks to generous community support, this event helped raise both funds and awareness—turning great food, music, and connection into meaningful impact for the families we serve.
The Second Annual Autism Awareness Walk & Gathering in Natchez brought together families, advocates, and community partners to celebrate acceptance, connection, and support for the neurodivergent community. Held on the historic Natchez Bluff in recognition of World Autism Awareness Day, the event featured a meaningful evening walk, local resources, speakers, entertainment, a sensory play area, interactive play area, and refreshments. More than just a walk, the gathering created space for education, visibility, and unity—highlighting the importance of understanding and inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum. Through strong community collaboration, the event raised awareness while fostering a welcoming environment for neurodivergent individuals and their families across the Miss-Lou.
